Custom-designed courses
You choose the material to be covered While our PLC Boot Camp courses cover the skills required by the vast majority of technicians working with PLCs, we recognize that some customers have special training needs. To satisfy these special needs we offer our custom-designed courses. These can easily be tailored to meet detailed training objectives and to cover precise topics – even down to the level of specific ladder files and rungs within the customer's existing programs. For customers interested in designing their own courses, we recommend the following basic steps. First find one of our existing courses which "comes close" to what you have in mind – and use this as a starting point. Click the handy Printable PDF Copy link on our website to print out the detailed Course Specification sheet. Then go "cafeteria style" through the objectives and topics – marking out any items that you don't need – and penciling in the items that you want to add. Feel free to merge topics from two or more of our courses – or even write new topics of your own. When you've got your "rough draft" ready, just give us a call and we'll take it from there. We'll type up the final course specifications for your approval – and provide a price quote for your consideration. There is no charge for the course development – regardless of how many drafts may be involved - and you won't be obligated to purchase the training. Or, if you prefer, we'll take care of the entire custom course design process for you. Just call us and tell us what you have in mind. We'll be glad to submit a set of course specifications for your approval – along with a price quote for you to consider. Once again, there is no charge for the custom course development – regardless of how many drafts may be required – and you're never under any obligation to purchase the training.
