Entering the class on Monday morning I was afraid that my lack of electrical experience and weak knowledge of signals would make it difficult to understand the PLC programming concepts. Taking this ControlLogix class was like going down the path of enlightenment. Not only do you get a great understanding of ControlLogix, but the PLC-5 and SLCs as well. Ron doesn’t do himself credit by calling it a “technician’s” class. The only bad thing about it is if more engineers or integrators (the so-called “experts”) would take one of his classes, they would probably get their feelings hurt. (Dale Durst)
