Overview:
Hands-on course with
one student per station. For students already familiar with PLC-5
hardware and RSLogix5 software. Concentrates on the differences between
SLC-500 and PLC-5 platforms including I/O addressing, Block Transfers, and
configuring SLC-500 hardware.
Please note that this is not an
entry-level course. Students who do not have the prerequisite familiarity
with the PLC-5 platform and RSLogix5 programming software should not
attend this class.
Our unique Problem/Solution
teaching method eliminates boring lectures and instead uses realistic
tasks to keep each student actively involved in learning skills which are
required on the job. Small class size with only one student per
workstation allows the instructor to coach each student
over-the-shoulder. By working independently, each student obtains the
